Julia Bernstein, on the faculty at the New England Conservatory in
Boston. She has a Masters Degree from Gorky State Conservatory (Russia).
Mrs. Bernstein has conducted numerous master classes in the United
States, Italy, France, Spain and Russia. She is on the faculty of Summit
Music Festival (New York), International Institute of Music (Germany).
Festival "Musica de Classica (Spain) and International Music Festival
(Holland). Mrs. Bernstein's students have won more than two hundred
awards at state, national and international competitions, including
Korean National Competition, International Young artist Competition
(Senigallia, Italy), IBLA Grand Prize (Italy), Stravinsky Competition
(Chicago, IL), International Young Artist Competition in Washington D.C.
and Carnegie Hall Competition.

Svitlana Lukyanova, on the faculty at Greenwich Academy,
Connecticut. Ms. Lukyanova got her Bachelors and Masters Degrees
from Kharkov State Conservatory, Ukraine and started her teaching
career at Liatoshinsky Music College. She is on the faculty of the
Festival de Musica Classica (Spain), she also worked as adjudicator in
several National and International Competitions. More then seventy of
her pupils have become winners of national and international piano
competitions, including ICA Young People Competition in Steinway
Hall, New York, Renee B. Fisher Competition, Honors Recital from
PTCNY and International Piano Competition in Spain.
Roman Totenberg was born in Poland and made his debute with
Warsaw Philharmonic in Berlin. He performed at the White House and
Library of Congress. In 1983 Mr. Totenberg was named Artist Teacher of
the Year by the American String Teacher Association. Currently teaching
at Boston University, he headed the String Department there from
1961-1978. He taught at the Mannes School of Music in New York,
Peabody Conservatory of Music, Baltimore, and the Longy School.
Sergey Dorensky, professor at the Moscow Tchaikovskogo
Conservatory. He is well known as the teacher of Stanislav Bunin who
won the first prize at the 11th International Frederic Chopin Piano
Competition, Nicolai Lugansky and Denis Matsuev. Many of his pupils
win high prizes in world famous competitions. Mr. Dorensky had his
concerts in many countries and often receives the invitations to serve as
a professor for master class. He has served on the juries of many
competition, including Tchaikovskogo Competition ( Russia) and
Hamamatsu (Japan). In he has the title of People's Artist of Russia.



Dr.Faina Bryanskaya internationally acclaimed pedagogue, is a
member of the Piano and Piano Pedagogy faculty at Longy School and
former Professor of Piano Pedagogy at Leningrad Conservatory. A
founder and methodological advisor of the Advanced Training for
Teachers of Music Schools, Colleges, and Conservatories in the former
Soviet Union, she has been called "Teacher of the Teachers."
Dr. Bryanskaya holds a MA with honors and PhD from the Leningrad
Conservatory, where she studied with Natan Perelman. Her
appearances include solo/duo performances, lectures, workshops,
adjudications, and a live performance on WGBH Radio;
Coaching/Teaching Demonstrations and Interactive Sessions at World
Piano Pedagogy Conferences. Her doctoral research in sight-reading led
to several articles and books published world-wide.
Yaroslav Kargin has been a soloist with State Symphony of Russia
Chamber Orchestra, Young Soloist of New York Chamber Orchestra,
and American Chamber Orchestra. Mr. Kargin has played a diverse
repertoire in concert halls in Moscow (Russia) and through the United
States. As a member for six years of the State Academy Symphony of
Russia under Eugeny Svetlanov (one of the premiere orchestras in the
world) Yaroslav has participated in a large number of performances
and recordings in Japan, China, France, Great Britain, Ireland,
Belgium, Germany, Spain, Brasil and Argentina. Mr. Kargin had a
great privilege to play with world star conductors and soloists including
Kurt Masur, Yuri Temirkanov, Mstislav Rostropovich, Vladimir
Spivakov, Montserrat Caballe, Evgeny Kissin and Yuri Bashmet. Mr.
Kargin has taught at Gnesin's Academy of Music, Yale University and
Interlochen Center for the Arts. He holds degrees from Moscow
Tchaikovsky Conservatory and Yale University School of Music.
Hrant Parsamian is the top prize winner in International
Competitions including, Houston Symphony Ima Hogg, Olga
Koussevitsky, HAMS, and Hudson Valley. He is an extensive solo as well
as chamber music performer who, has appeared frequently in venues
such as Weill Recital Hall, Alice Tully Hall, Gregory Singer Violins
Concert Series, World Bank in Washington D.C., Music Gettysburg,
Banff Center for the Arts, Orford concert series. Recently he has
collaborated with artists such as Hans Graf, Carlos Prieto, Vladimir
Ashkenazy, Zakhar Bron, and Natalya Shakhovskaya. Winner of the
Cello Fellowship with Montgomery Symphony Orchestra, Hrant
Parsamian is founding member of the Ararat Trio. Mr. Parsamian holds
bachelor degrees from the Julliard School, and received his Masters of
Music from Yale School of Music.

Elena Arsenyev received her Bachelors and Masters Degrees from
Novosibirsk State Conservatory, Russia. While performing as a soloist
with the Omsk State Philharmonic Orchestra, Mrs. Arsenyev toured
throughout the former USSR and accompanied the winner of the
Musorgsky Vocal Competition Boris Mazun. Her other accomplishments
include serving as a head of Chamber Music Department at Volgograd
College of Music and a faculty member at Moscow Children School of
Music. Mrs. Arsenyev's students are winners in numbers of
competitions including International Young Artist Piano Competition
in Washington D.C., and National Symphony Orchestra's Young Soloist
Concerto Competition. Mrs. Arsenyev is a chair of Montgomery County
Concerto Competition since 1997.

Alexander Velinzon is a native of St. Petersburg, Russia and
Assistant Concertmaster of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. Mr.
Velinzon received his Master's Degree from Julliard School of Music. He
won The Artist International 1996 Young Artists Auditions and was
presented in his New York recital debut at Carnegie Hall. Mr. Velinzon
often appears as a soloist with orchestras, including Rondo Chamber
Orchestra on its tour to Venezuela, The Absolute Ensemble and The
Metamorphoses Orchestra of New York. Mr. Velinzon has been heard at
the City Center playing J.S. bach Violin Concertos for the Paul Taylor
Dance Company on its critically acclaimed New York season.
Prizewinner of the Heida Hermann Competition in Pennsylvania and
the Tibor Varda International Violin Competition in Sion, Switzerland,
Mr. Velinzon has appeared in Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, and
Russia, as well as throughout the USA.
Suzanne Corey is Principal Violist of the Ridgefield Symphony, and
Norwalk Symphony, where she has performed as soloist. Suzanne has
studied with Albert Markov, Jesse Levine and Robert Glazer, formerly
with the Chicago Symphony, and two years with the Manhattan String
Quartet at Music Mountain. She was also a member of the Tourmaline
String Quartet for 8 years, which had a residency with Ridgefield
Symphony. This Quartet has performed extensively throughout
Fairfield County and New York areas with appearances at Vassar,
Marist, and Bard Colleges, and Marymount Fordham University,
where she was a faculty member, and St. Stephen’s Church and Keeler
Tavern Museum in Ridgefield. Suzanne has also performed throughout
the United States, Japan and South America.
Suzanne presently, has just been appointed music director of the
Ridgefield Junior Orchestra, is presently violist with Trio Delle Chord,
is a faculty member of the Waterville Valley Summer Music Festival,
and is the Artistic Director for the Keeler Tavern Museum Chamber
Music Series.

Gunnar Sahlin studied cello at the Academy of Music in Prague,
Czechoslovakia, for three years. During 1975 -1988 he was a
permanent member of the Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra,
Sweden. With that orchestra Sahlin participated in tours all over
Europe and in the US, playing with world famous soloists and
conductors. The orchestra also appears at the annual Nobel Prize
Ceremonies at the Stockholm Concert Hall. In 1979-80 Sahlin studied
at Juilliard School of Music in New York City during a sabbatical. In
1987 Sahlin had the opportunity to perform for and learn from Yo-Yo
Ma in a Master Class at the Stockholm Concert Hall. Sahlin, who has
lived in the US since 1988, is a freelancing musician in Connecticut
and New York. In 2003 he auditioned successfully and became
Principal Cellist of Norwalk Symphony Orchestra. Sahlin is a
founding member of the string Trio “Trio Delle Corde” and is the
artistic director and conductor of Fairfield County Symphony Society.


Kristin Stephenson, since beginning piano studies at age three,
Kristine has won numerous awards, including first prize in the
International Young Artist Piano Competition in Washington, D.C. Ms.
Stephenson is a graduate of the Julliard School, where she studied with
Oxana Yablonskaya, Robert McDonald and Yoheved Kaplinsky. She
currently studies and in Boston and New York City. Ms. Stephenson has
been teaching for over ten years. As both performer and teacher, she
desires to continue the legacy of classical music. Kristin has performed
in the John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts, Alice Tully Hall at
Lincoln Center, in Spain and Germany.
