Rules:
Eligibility: Connecticut International Young Artist Competition is open to musicians
of all nationalities from ages five to eighteen in four categories.
Categories: Piano, Strings, Ensemble and Composition.
Rules and Requirements:
Submit an Application Form along with four items
1. Audio Tape, CD or DVD of two pieces
*see repertoire requirements for each category
2. Copy of birth certificate or passport
3. Two glossy passport size photographs (suitable for publicity purposes)
4. Non-refundable application fee of $80 per applicant.
* Entrance fee payable to Young Talent Promotions, LLC.
Applications submitted without the required information will be disqualified!
Deadline: Application Form and all four items must be complete and mailed no later
than May 1, 2008!

Foreign Contestants:
Deadline for the Application Form is April 7, 2008!
All fee's must be payed in the US dollars.
Please consult your nearest American Embassy for advice on visas.
CIYA Competition will send you an official letter of invitation.
Competition will take place at the First Congregational Church in Stamford,
Connecticut. Winners will be announced after the competition. All decisions made by
jury will be final and not subject to any appeal.
All winners must be present at the Awards Ceremony and Winners Concert in order
to receive their prizes.
1st, 2nd and 3rd Prize Winners will perform at the Winners Concert on June 8, 2008.
Prizes:
Second CIYA Competition will offer $5000 in prize money.
All participants will be awarded certificates of participation.
1st Prize winners will receive Gold Medals,
2nd and 3rd Prize winners - diplomas and trophies.
Teachers of the winners will be presented with certificates.
